3500/7200 Ton Farquhar Hydraulic Forging Press.  Press was originally 7,200 ton capacity.  This is a Quad-Action Forging press. Capacity-main vertical movement 3500 tons, Distance between posts 36″, Daylight btwn bolsters 60″, Stroke of Main Cylinder 36″, Capacity of Horiz Cylinders (3) @ 1225 ton each.

This is an unusual press having not only the capacity of 3,500 tons from the main cylinder but also having three (3) 1,225 ton horizontal cylinders. The horizontal cylinders are 12” above the bolster & spaced at 120° apart around the press. The press total tonnage rating is 7,200 tons.
